If you wish for us to share or receive information from anyone on your behalf, we will require you to authorize this in writing. During your initial visit with your therapist, you will receive detailed information about the limits to confidentiality, which are also outlined in your initial paperwork. If therapist is unavailable, we may suggest an alternative therapist who aligns with your needs and availability. In cases where therapist is not available at your requested time, we ensure to provide you with valuable resources to support your search for the right therapeutic fit. How does therapy work?At The Aligned Mindset, your therapy plan is as unique as you are. Whether you require short-term therapy focused on achieving goals in a shorter timeframe or longer-term support for more complex issues, we're here to support you every step of the way. Typically, our clients meet with their therapist on a weekly basis, with each session lasting approximately 55 minutes. However, we recognize that flexibility is key, and depending on your progress and goals, bi-weekly appointments may also be an option. Your therapist will work closely with you to determine the frequency of sessions that best support your therapeutic journey and ensure you receive the personalized care and attention you deserve.

Can I use my insurance?At The Aligned Mindset we do not accept insurance, however we'll gladly assist you with the necessary paperwork for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. Your health insurance or employee benefit plan may cover our services, either fully or partially. To ensure you understand your coverage, we recommend asking these important questions when speaking with your insurance provider: Do I have mental health insurance benefits? What is my deductible, and has it been met? How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover? What is the coverage amount per therapy session? Is approval required from my primary care physician? Knowing these details will help you navigate your insurance coverage effectively and make informed decisions about your mental health care.
